Good Morning Boston! For those familiar with the moving and storage industry we're in the peak season. That means household moving turnover is a lot higher than the colder months of the year.

Our movers and packers have been relocating families in Northern Boston for years. We know these streets like the back of our hand. From every traffic camera to upcoming one-way streets our North Boston movers have the inside knowledge of your neighborhood and community.

Household moving is a particularly hectic time in any family's schedule. Between work, school, soccer practice, finding time to be 'move out' ready is never easy. Here's a little nugget of wisdom for a successful household move:

Moving tip #1: "Schedule your move four to six weeks in advance."

During the summer months all the moving company schedules are filling up like a stomach at a pie eating contest. To guarantee a move in date that works for you get on the phone with a moving company at least four weeks in advance. They'll work with you to allocate a time that can accommodate your desired move in date.

Take that knowledge and put it to good use otherwise you might be stuck up a creek without a paddle. One key to a move is having a move set up. If you don't have a time set in stone you don't have a move period.
